I really wanted to make a personal card for a friend and was considering what to make. She is an avid scrapbooker so I needed to think out of the box. She loves to swim in the sea in all weathers, so that gave me the inspiration for this one.

The printed card with waves was ideal especially with two colour ways. I could choose the darker blue for the deeper water and the paler green for inshore.

This is where the seagulls made their first appearance, and of course the friendly seal who is made from recycled card.

The swimmer is wearing a wetsuit and a sparkly swim cap.
