Card Kit Folk Art Birds
This gorgeous kit has all the materials you need to make four folk art inspired greetings cards. The patterned card is double sided which gives you options to add your own style.
The cards are all based on a square cream coloured card with either a black or textured green as the background to the image. One edge of the card features either a trunks or blossom stripe to add interest and compliment the image.
I was looking for inspiration to make a card for a friend. The birds were singing in the garden and that got me thinking and so the Card Kit Folk Art Birds was born.
The kit contains the double sided pattern card birds and strips for the decorative edge. Pewter and bronze coloured textured paper, spare card to cut additional shapes, google eyes and sticky foam pads. You will need glue and a black marker pen.
The bird wings are mounted on sticky pads to give a lovely 3D effect. Adding flowers or other cut out shapes show off your creative side and enhance to picture.
The kit also includes my ‘handmade for you by ….’ stickers so you can show the recipient that you have specially made this card with love.
