The eyes are self adhesive

Make sure you have some clear working space and a flat surface to glue on.

Open the small parts box and identify the pieces. Separate the parts for each card design so that you can make one at a time.

Note: There are three sizes of Googly Eyes.

Many of the parts use textured card, check to see which side is up.

Lay out the parts of the design on the card blank first so you can see the best arrangement. You can mix and match the parts to make your own designs.

The final design will be unique to you. Everyone will put the head at a slightly different angle and the eyes in a slightly different place, giving each design its own character.

When you are ready to glue, start with the patterned ‘ground’ pieces.

  • Use a marker pen for the nose of the ‘Hog.
  • Stick on some spines and his eye
  • Make 4 ‘Hogs – One for each card

Chick

    1. Body, Wings
    2. Hedgehog platform
    3. Assemble head and use five sticky pads to fit to the body.
    4. Assemble ‘Hog and glue in place.
Tip – stick the pads to the head and check position before taking the paper off the pad.

Frog

    1. Fit the eyes to the glitter eye pieces before glueing to the head
    2. Take care with the tiny nostrils, or use a marker pen
    3. Use five sticky pads to fit to the body
    4. Stick Lily Pad to background
    5. Assemble ‘Hog and use three small sticky pads to attach to Lily Pad

Fox

Assemble the Fox tail first

We recommend that you glue in order:

    1. Tail and Body
    2. Assemble the head
        1. Stick the inner ear to the outer ear
        2. Stick ears, nose and eyes to head
    3. Use five sticky pads to fit the head
    4. Assemble ‘Hog and glue in place

Cat

The Cat has larger eyes

We recommend that you glue in order:

    1. Tail, Body
    2. Assemble the head –
      1. Stick the inner ear to the outer ear
      2. Stick ears, nose and eyes to head
    3. Use five sticky pads to fit to the body
    4. Assemble ‘Hog and glue in place

Finally, attach the ‘made by’ sticker to the back of your card. Don’t forget to add your name so the lucky recipient knows that it has been made with love, by you.
