The Folk Art card kit was inspired by the birds in my garden. I was making a card for my friend and was looking for some inspiration. It started out with some stripey silk fabric and I was thinking of Victorian bird cages. I changed my mind and allowed the birds to be free flying.

The flowery and patterned cardstock easily turned in to three cards that I was really pleased with. I was just not finding a design I liked for the fourth one. An unexpected trip out took me past some urban graffiti and there it was the inspiration I was looking for.

The design and materials for this card is slightly different to the others in the set. However the tree design to the side and the scattered flowers I think it deserves its place in the set.

The textured paper with pewter and copper finishes really relate this design back to the colouring on the wall art.

This set is more suited to adult crafters with parts to cut out yourself as well as pre-cut parts.
